POWERS OF ATTORNEY
The illness of one partner can leave the other unable to draw cash
or pay the bills. An Enduring Power of Attorney can easily and cheaply
be arranged.
An Enduring Power of Attorney is an important document to ensure
your personal affairs can be looked after if you are no longer able
to manage your own financial affairs. You can appoint a friend or
family member or at your request we can act as your Attorney. Thursfields
currently hold hundreds of Enduring Power of Attorney’s for
clients of the Practice. We can act as your Attorney if required.
We do offer a wide range of help when the Enduring Power of Attorney
is to be used.
If you do not have an Enduring Power of Attorney and then have
an incapacitating accident or illness, we can make an application
to the Court of Protection so that your financial affairs can be
dealt with. We can also act as your Receiver if required.
