Thursfields support for local charity, Mentor Link
Thursfields has recently assisted local charity Mentor Link with a lease of new premises in Stourport for a charity shop. Mentor Link recruits and trains volunteer mentors to support young people who are facing difficulties e.g. family breakdown, illness, friendship problems and low self esteem. The volunteers visit local schools each week to befriend, listen to and support these young people with the aim of creating a more positive attitude towards learning.
Managing Partner, Nick O’Hara said: “Mentor Link provides a valuable service to the local community and we are pleased to be able to support it in its work. We wish them every success with their new shop.”
