Thursfields supports local schools' initiative
Thursfields inspires budding students hoping to enter the legal profession at King Charles I School.
As a leading Worcestershire law firm Thursfields were invited by King Charles I School’s Sixth Form Centre to their recent careers fair to advise students considering a career in the legal profession.
Linda Baylis, Liz Davies, and Sarah Everton went along to talk to the students and answer any queries they had about careers in law. The students were also provided with literature produced by the Law Society and Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) to assist them on their way.
For those students unsure about committing to a straight Law Degree the event was an opportunity to allay fears that this was a prerequisite to a successful career in law.
Due to the different paths taken by Linda, Liz and Sarah to reach their goal they were able to advise on a multitude of options available to the students including the ILEX accreditation, the Graduate Diploma in Law for non law graduates and the Legal Practice Course for law graduates.
