Paul Gammon, Partner and Childcare law specialist at Thursfields was recently asked to give an address to the West Mercia Family Justice Council conference to share his expertise on care proceedings and the role of the Child’s Solicitor.
Paul is a member of the Children Panel and Family Law Panel and Association of Lawyers for Children and Resolution and was previously Chairman of the local association. Paul is also a trained mediator practising with and as a member of the College of Family Mediators.
His address began with an edited version of the poem by Philip Larkin - This be the Verse:
“They muck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you."
His Honour Judge Richard Rundell wrote a letter thanking Thursfields and Paul for his contribution which was very well-received by the Conference.
